Thora is a managed cloud platform based in and serving the Columbus, Ohio metro area, with services available online. We provide managed websites, Storage, an AI Workspace, game servers, community tools, and Local IT support. When this policy says "we," "us," or "Thora," that's who we mean. What we collect

We collect only what we need to provide and improve your services:

  • Account information — your name, email address, and the details you give us when you sign up or contact us.
  • Billing information — what's needed to process payments and keep your account balance accurate. Payment card details are handled by our payment processor, not stored by us directly.
  • Your content — the Files, websites, and data you store on Thora. This belongs to you; we store and protect it on your behalf.
  • Usage information — how your services are used, so we can show you readable Usage, keep things running, and bill accurately.
  • Technical information — basic details like device and connection data that come with using any online service, used to keep the platform secure and reliable.

How we use it

We use your information to:

  • Provide, run, and support the services you've signed up for.
  • Process billing accurately and show you clear, usage-based costs.
  • Keep your account and content secure, including backups and updates.
  • Respond when you contact us and provide hands-on Support.
  • Improve our products and tell you about meaningful changes.

Your content is yours. You own your Files, your website, and the data you store on Thora. We hold and protect it on your behalf, and you can access, export, or take it with you. We never hold your data hostage, and if you leave, you can take it with you.

How we protect it

Your information sits on durable, redundant infrastructure with regular backups, encryption, and access controls. SSL and security updates are handled for you. How long we keep it

We keep your account and content for as long as your account is active, and for a reasonable period afterward to meet legal and operational obligations. You can ask us to delete your data, and we'll honor that within the limits the law allows.
